Feral Horses
The Colville Tribes Fish and Wildlife Department is responsible for the management of wild (feral) horses. The Range program assists the Fish and Wildlife Program with management through the issuing of wild horse chase and capture permits.
The Range program has a shared interest in the management of wild horse populations, due to their impact to rangeland resources & water quality, primarily caused by overgrazing.
